You don’t have to struggle alone
Focus Areas

You may have been through a really tough event or a lot of difficult experiences over time. When we work together, our main goal is to help you heal and feel strong again. We use practical tools to manage big feelings and to feel safe and present. We also aim to change any unkind or unfair negative thoughts that you hold about yourself. Most importantly, we slowly and safely work to take the powerful, painful charge out of your distressing memories, so they stop hurting you and become just a story you can live past.

Tough times in your important relationships - whether with a partner, family member, coworker or friend - can be incredibly challenging. In our work, we focus on making those relationships healthier and more manageable. We can explore how to set healthy boundaries, understand why arguments happen, and learn better ways to talk and resolve issues. We can also address challenging problems like trust issues, differing values, and feelings like jealousy or power struggles. I'm here to also support you through heavy transitions, including navigating breakups, family estrangement, and the loss of loved ones, helping your heart heal and move forward.

Feeling worried or down a lot can be overwhelming, but I’m here to help you get unstuck. This isn’t about using quick fixes that don’t last. Together, we'll look deeper to understand why your anxiety or low mood started, so the change we make has a much better chance of lasting. We use proven and effective methods that treat all your feelings - even the worried or sad ones - like different parts of you that need your attention. Instead of fighting those difficult parts, we get to know them and befriend them, which helps them calm down. By working with all the parts of you, we can break those tough cycles of feeling bad, leaving room for you to feel more balanced, calm, and well.

Being in your 20s and 30s can feel like navigating a maze, full of new pressures about work, money, serious relationships, and big life decisions that make the future feel uncertain. Instead of just pushing through those pressures, we can focus on building a strong inner compass for you. In therapy, we work to build a strong foundation inside by increasing your self-awareness, confidence, and emotional stability. This isn't just a temporary fix, these are the essential tools that will help you handle this challenging stage, making every big decision and transition easier for years to come.

When your relationship is struggling, it can feel like you and your partner are on different planets. We use an established method of couples therapy to help you turn toward each other. We'll explore how you react to your partner and teach you new, better ways to talk and really listen so you both feel heard. By practicing brave communication, you'll learn to truly understand each other's feelings and deeper needs. The time we spend working on this will help build a stronger and safer bond between you, making your partnership a secure and happy place.

If you’re dealing with the pain of grief, it's totally normal to feel big swings of emotion, a huge sense of emptiness, or find simple daily tasks difficult. Whether your sadness is brand new or you’ve been carrying it for a long time, I’m here to help. We'll focus on being kind and patient with yourself (self-compassion), finding healthy ways to cope with the pain, and gently getting used to all the changes the loss has brought. When you feel ready, you can discover ways to honor your loved one, re-engage with your own life, and discover new meaning in your journey forward.
